Urosculpt was founded and is led by Dr. Joel Pash, DO, a board-certified anesthesiologist with extensive experience in academic medicine, clinical practice, and healthcare innovation. Dr. Pash holds faculty appointments at Stanford University, where he has served as Adjunct Clinical Faculty since 2014, and previously held Clinical Assistant Professor positions at both the University of Alberta and University of Calgary.
Dr. Pash’s background uniquely positions him to lead Urosculpt’s mission. As a Fellow of the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada in Anesthesia, with specialized training in pain management and perioperative services from Stanford University, he brings deep expertise in patient comfort, safety protocols, and procedural excellence. His published research on ambulatory surgical center operations and multimodal pain therapy demonstrates his commitment to evidence-based medicine and optimized patient outcomes.
Beyond Urosculpt, Dr. Pash is the majority owner of Upsize LLC, a nationally recognized physician-focused penis enlargement company. His experience building Upsize has established him as likely the most prolific trainer of penis filler providers in the United States.
Urosculpt employs the same proven injection techniques and proprietary methods developed through Upsize, but with an expanded mission: democratizing access to male enhancement procedures by training not only physicians but also nurse practitioners and physician assistants. This multi-disciplinary approach allows Urosculpt to scale rapidly and make these procedures available to more patients across diverse geographic markets.
Unlike traditional approaches, Urosculpt’s proprietary technique minimizes the elaborate aftercare requirements—such as weeks of sleeves, wraps, or manual molding—that other providers typically require, offering patients a more convenient recovery experience.

The two doctors were introduced by Dr. Friedlander’s brother – a longtime friend of Dr. Pash – and they quickly realized they shared a common goal: to develop a safe, effective method for male enhancement that would give men more confidence without the perils of surgery. In 2023, they teamed up to launch Upsize LLC, blending Dr. Pash’s expertise in injectables with Dr. Friedlander’s surgical insight to create a new kind of men’s health clinic. This vision has guided Upsize from day one. What started as an idea between two friends (and now business partners) has rapidly grown into a multi-city practice setting a new standard in male enhancement.
