The Procedure

Procedure Questions

What is the UroSculpt™ penis filler procedure?

The UroSculpt™ procedure is a non-surgical cosmetic treatment that uses injectable hyaluronic acid (HA) dermal fillers to increase the girth of the penis. The filler is injected into the subcutaneous tissue of the penile shaft using a fine cannula to add volume and enhance appearance. The procedure is performed as an outpatient visit and typically takes less than an hour to complete.

What products are used?

All UroSculpt™ certified providers use FDA-approved hyaluronic acid-based dermal fillers. These are the same biocompatible fillers used in facial aesthetic procedures, applied off-label for penile augmentation. Hyaluronic acid is a naturally occurring substance in the body, which is why it is well-tolerated and safe for this application. The specific brand of filler may vary by clinic, but all products used in the UroSculpt™ network meet our clinical standards.

Who performs the procedure?

UroSculpt™ procedures are performed by licensed medical professionals — physicians (MDs and DOs), nurse practitioners (NPs), and physician assistants (PAs) — who have completed the UroSculpt™ certification program and passed our credentialing exam. Every provider in the UroSculpt™ network follows the same standardized injection protocol. To find a certified provider near you, visit our clinic directory.

Is penis filler a surgery?

No. Penis filler is a non-surgical, minimally invasive procedure. There are no incisions, no stitches, and no general anesthesia required. The treatment is performed using injections with a fine cannula under local anesthesia. Most patients can return to normal activities within a few days.

Will I need general anesthesia?

No. The procedure is performed under local anesthesia, which numbs the treatment area while you remain fully awake and comfortable. Local anesthesia is much safer than general anesthesia, has fewer risks, and doesn't require the recovery time associated with sedation.

Can all the filler be injected in one visit?

In most cases, yes. Your provider will assess your anatomy and goals during consultation and determine the appropriate volume. The entire procedure is typically completed in a single appointment, though some patients choose to return for additional filler in the future if they want further enhancement.

Results & Expectations

Results Questions

Can penis filler make the penis longer?

Penis filler primarily increases girth (thickness), not length. However, many patients notice an increase in flaccid length due to the added weight of the filler creating gentle traction and a scaffolding effect that prevents the penis from retracting to its previous flaccid size. Erect length remains essentially unchanged, as length is determined by internal structures anchored to the pubic bone.

How long do results last?

Results typically last an average of two years. Longevity varies from person to person depending on factors such as metabolism, lifestyle, and the specific product used. Hyaluronic acid fillers are gradually absorbed by the body over time, and many patients return for maintenance treatments to extend their results.

Is penis filler permanent?

No, and this is actually a significant safety advantage. HA fillers are temporary and gradually absorbed by the body. Permanent fillers such as silicone and PMMA are dangerous and should be avoided — if complications occur with permanent fillers, they require surgical removal, which can result in scarring or permanent damage. With temporary HA fillers, complications can usually be treated non-surgically, and the filler can be dissolved with an enzyme called hyaluronidase if needed.

Does the filler feel natural?

Yes. Hyaluronic acid filler feels very similar to natural penile tissue. Once the filler has settled and initial swelling has subsided, the penis looks and feels natural to the touch. The filler integrates with your tissue and moves naturally.

Will my partner be able to tell?

It's unlikely. When performed correctly by an experienced, certified provider, penis filler looks and feels natural. Most partners cannot tell that filler has been used. The enhancement appears as a natural part of your anatomy.

I want length, not thickness. Why should I consider girth?

Research and feedback from sexual partners consistently show that most partners prefer and derive more pleasure from increased girth rather than increased length. The vaginal canal has the most nerve endings in the outer third, meaning thickness provides more stimulation than additional length. Many men who initially wanted length find that girth enhancement provides the satisfaction and confidence they were truly seeking.

Safety

Safety Questions

Is penis filler safe?

When performed by qualified, certified medical professionals using FDA-approved hyaluronic acid products, penis filler is generally considered safe. HA fillers are biocompatible and have a well-established safety profile spanning over 25 years in aesthetic medicine. Serious complications are rare when the procedure is performed correctly by experienced providers following the UroSculpt™ standardized protocol.

What are the risks?

Common side effects include temporary swelling, bruising, tenderness, and minor asymmetry — all of which typically resolve within one to two weeks. Rare but possible complications include vascular complications, infection, nodules or lumps from uneven filler distribution, granulomas, filler migration, and allergic reactions. Choosing a UroSculpt™ certified provider significantly reduces your risk, as every provider follows our standardized injection technique and safety protocols.

What makes UroSculpt™ providers different from other providers?

Every UroSculpt™ certified provider has completed our comprehensive training program, passed a rigorous credentialing exam, and follows the same standardized injection protocol. This means consistent technique, consistent results, and consistent safety standards regardless of which UroSculpt™ provider you visit. Providers who are not UroSculpt™ certified may use varying techniques with less predictable outcomes.

Who is a good candidate for penis filler?

Ideal candidates are adults (18+) in good overall health with realistic expectations about what the procedure can achieve. You should have normal baseline penile anatomy without significant curvature or deformities, no active infections or skin conditions in the treatment area, and be willing to follow post-procedure instructions — including abstaining from sexual activity during the healing period.

Pricing & Financing

Pricing Questions

How much does penis filler cost?

UroSculpt™ procedures start at $3,990 for 5ml of filler. The total cost depends on the volume of filler used, which determines the degree of enhancement. Average cost is around $7,000. During your consultation, your provider will discuss your goals and provide a personalized recommendation based on the volume needed to achieve your desired results. Visit our pricing page for a full breakdown.

Do you offer financing?

Yes. Financing options are available at most UroSculpt™ locations through partners like Cherry and CareCredit. Financing allows you to pay over time rather than all at once. Visit your preferred clinic's page for specific financing information and links to apply.

Is pricing consistent across all locations?

UroSculpt™ provides recommended pricing guidelines to all certified providers in the United States. Most locations follow these guidelines, so you can expect consistent pricing across the network. Canadian pricing may vary due to currency and product cost differences. We recommend confirming exact pricing with your provider during consultation.

Recovery

Recovery Questions

What is the aftercare like?

One of the advantages of the UroSculpt™ technique is simplified aftercare. While many other providers require weeks of wearing sleeves, wraps, or manual molding, the UroSculpt™ proprietary technique largely avoids these elaborate requirements. Patients treated by UroSculpt™ certified providers have minimal aftercare needs, making recovery more convenient and comfortable. Your provider will give you specific instructions based on your procedure.

When can I have sex after the procedure?

You must avoid sexual activity for a minimum of one week following the procedure. This allows the filler to settle and the tissue to heal. Your provider will confirm when it is safe to resume sexual activity at your follow-up appointment.

How long is the recovery?

Most patients return to normal daily activities within a few days. Swelling typically peaks around day two to three, then gradually improves. Most swelling and bruising resolves by week two. Final results are typically visible by four weeks once all swelling has resolved. The only significant restrictions are avoiding sexual activity for one week and avoiding hot tubs or steam rooms for four weeks.

Will I need to take time off work?

Most patients do not need to take time off work. The procedure is completed in under an hour, and you can typically return to desk work or non-strenuous activities the same day. Some patients prefer to schedule the procedure on a Friday to allow for a weekend of rest, but it is not required.
